Corrections get priority. Every number on this site carries a source link, which only means something if we act on what you find.
What to write about
Corrections. The most valuable message you can send. If a figure on this site does not match the source we cited, or the source has changed since we read it, tell us the page and the number. We will verify against the published source, fix it, and update the page’s modified date.
Missing specs. If a manufacturer publishes a figure we have listed as “not published,” send us the link. Several of our comparison tables have gaps we would genuinely like to fill.
Gear we have not covered. We can only publish a pick when a full specification table is available with a citable source. If there is a product you think belongs here and its specs are published somewhere we can reach, that is useful to know.
Questions. If something on the site is unclear, that is usually a writing problem on our end and worth fixing for everyone.
What we cannot help with
Warranty and returns. Reel & Rig does not sell anything. We link to retailers, and anything about an order, a return or a warranty claim has to go to whoever you bought it from.
Hands-on comparisons. We have not fished this gear, so we genuinely cannot tell you how a particular rod feels in the hand or how a screen reads in direct sun. Where a question needs that kind of answer, we would rather say so than guess.
Paid placement. There is none, and there will not be. Nobody can buy a spot on a list here.
